Roast Your Spouse

We’re the Joneses—two hilarious, semi-functional humans figuring out how to stay married through the fine art of the comedic roast. We are not relationship experts or learn-ed doctors… but we aren’t trying to fix each other either... just survive.

Each week, we team up with another couple to laugh at the weird, petty, and painfully relatable stuff we all deal with in relationships. Because if you don’t laugh at your partner leaving their shoes in the middle of the hallway again, you might just scream.

LATEST EPISODE

Our debut episode featuring our good friends Shawn and Nancy, who talk to us about the annoying habits they've learned to live with and how Nancy trained Shawn out of flip flops.

HOW'D WE GET HERE?

At Roast Your Spouse, we believe humor can diffuse almost anything—especially in marriage.

You know that moment when a stand-up comic or TikTok nails something your partner does, and you realize you’re not the only one? You’re laughing so hard you’ve replayed it ten times, and even your spouse is cracking up because… turns out, it’s not just a “you” problem. That’s the magic—finding connection, catharsis, and relief in shared ridiculousness. Each week, we sit down with couples willing to roast each other (and themselves) so we can all laugh at the weird stuff our partners do—because you’re not crazy… you’re just married.

What Our Listeners Are Saying

"Thank you for normalizing the weird shit my wife asks me. I thought she was losing it... but apparently, it's just me."

Meet the Hosts

Host-1

Cody Jones, The Husband

We aren't sure how someone can be both Schmidt from New Girl and Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec... but somehow this tall, blonde, former college football player is a unique combo of neurotic, manly and hilarious.

2

Lesley Jones, The Wife

Not that Leslie Jones... but still very funny. An artistic free spirit, she's often told she reminds people of Alexis Rose from Schitt's Creek and isn't sure whether to be flattered or offended.
